I faintly felt movement inside the tent and snuggled closer him him, trying to get a little warmer, then faded back to sleep.

i smiled and wrapped my arm over her

I rolled over and stretched, the sun blinding me through the tent walls. "Mom turn the light off!" I groaned and covered my eyes, still half awake.

"who are you calling mom?" i mumbled softly

I fully opened my eyes and focused on him. "Oh, I was half awake I'm sorry Nik... My mom always used to wake me up by turning my bedside lamp on." I yawned a little.

i laughed softly "it's fine, i figured you were still half asleep"

I chuckled and blushed really bad. "So, um how long have you been awake?" I asked trying to change the subject.

"Half an hour at the most" i said answered softly

"Oh I'm sorry, I must've been boring then, just laying here sleeping." I said and rolled my eyes.

i shook my head "not at all, it was peaceful"

"I've almost forgotten waht peaceful is...." I said quietly.

i nodded and continued to lay there with her in just her shift and me without my shirt or boots. it was nice and in the tent it felt like our own world
