And now to give this topic some substance! Here are some of my favorite country songs.

Number 1: When You Say Nothing At All
It's a song about a woman who loves a man, although he seems to be a silent protagonist, or mute, beacuse it mentions several times that he doesn't talk all too much, but she's happy anyway.

Number 2: Skip-A-Rope
An old song about how what parents say about everyday isues affects thier children.

Number 3: Raggedy Ann
A SEVERLY old song that is more story than song. It's a lonly man who is... talking to his daughter's Raggedy Ann doll after she dies of disease.

Number 4: Phantom 309
A song about a ghost truck that is said to roam the roads.



Sure, some of them are sad, but some of them are happy too.
